Hi! How do we blog again?!

*** taps mic *** is this thing on?!?!

hi hi hiiii!! it’s been a hot second since i’ve blogged. whoa. who’s reading these anymore?! my mom + my little sister + one faithful friend in the midwest?! okay cool cool cool.

okay for real though. social media is a crazy-clown-merry-go-round right now + we just need a breather to step away for a second + have a little place to connect, ya feel me sister! and it’s been a bit since my wanna-be-mom-blogger days, circa 2017. I really thought I was going places, but I digress. ha

My life looks very different than it did back when my “Today Is My Favorite” was my main, non-paying gig. We went from living in a 2000 sq foot fixer upper house on East Jefferson Street in Washington Iowa to currently sitting in the middle of a random rain storm in our huge concrete house in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

Oh and we have two more babies in the mix now + one little heaven baby. But if we’re friends on instagram, you already know all that.

Things that haven’t changed?! Still obsessed with my blonde, California boy, Adam Neesby. Still obsessed with essential oils + still needing Jesus ever second of every day. Probably now MORE than I did 7 years ago.

Welcome to a brand new little spot where I'll share my favorite things — like you already see me doing over on the ‘gram but just sans creepy ole Zuck peering over our shoulders — IYKYK. I will share little bits of what I'm learning in womanhood + how we're staying healthy + strong in these crazy times. I might even pull over a few of my old blog posts from my former yesteryear days of ‘wanna be mom blogging’ (like birth stories of the boys, some early marriage posts, here for the nostalgia you know?!)

I’ll not only be sharing things here but I’ve also finally put together my own little email list so we can chat over on the ol’ fashion gmail like regular girlfriends. Okay — so other things that won’t change. Like my propensity to ramble, my horrific lack of spell checking my work (sorry mom) + my love for posting photos of my cute babies. So whether you're reading this while feeding your baby in the middle of the night or on a park bench in the sunshine while your kids run off energy at the park or while you're taking a break in the bathroom (we all do it ha) – I’m so glad to know you’re here!

You are some of the greatest gifts that the crazy world of social media has brought me + hope you know how much my heart is to serve + encourage you in your daily life. What a gift to do this life together because it truly takes a village + the best is yet to come. Chat more sooooon!
